Frankincense Fresh Sensitive Toothpaste is an alkalinizing paste for smooth, shiny teeth & happy gums! This unique toothpaste is made with organic virgin coconut oil, sodium bicarbonate (baking soda), saponified olive oil, frankincense, myrrh, peppermint, sweet thyme, tea tree oil, and kaolin clay.

 

Essential oils by nature are antibacterial, anti-fungal, and anti-viral to varying degrees. Unlike manufactured antibiotics, bacteria cannot develop a resistance to essential oils, which makes them the most effective agents for total mouth cleansing.

When you use oils, you are cleansing gums, breath, and teeth with ingredients that naturally clean rather than chemically clean. In the long run, this leads to a stronger mouth - and body - as you are only absorbing nature's goodness rather than chemicals and preservatives. 

Frankincense: A liquid pearl of holy anointing oil from the tree of life, our Frankincense comes from Somaliland where they grow the highest quality of gum trees. This precious essence has been used to support clean teeth and fresh breath for thousands of years in Middle Eastern areas. It is common for Arabian people to chew the resin. They know of its ability to eliminate bad breath causing bacteria and assist with removing plaque.*

Coconut Oil: This diverse lipid is a caring carrier oil and botanicalbiotic coconspirator that balances oral ecology. This optimal oil soothes the oral tissue and gently removes bacteria that cause bad breath.*

Sodium Bicarbonate (Baking Soda): Teeth thrive when they are bathed in a sea of sweet saliva, and baking soda buffers and neutralizes food acids. In addition to being an effective cleaning polish, baking soda is gentle. It has significantly lower abrasiveness than the cleaning agents of chalk and silica that are used in commercial toothpastes, and the baking soda’s natural alkalinity neutralizes bacterial acidity.*

Saponified Olive Oil: Our organic saponified Olive oil captures all of the nourishing, moisturizing properties of olive oil while enhancing the oil’s ability to help remove plaque from the teeth. Myrrh: Myrrh is one of the oldest botanicals in the world. It has been mentioned in Egyptian texts including the Ebers Papyrus, which documents over eight hundred formulas. The Egyptians used large amounts of myrrh in rituals, remedies, cosmetics, and embalming. Myrrh’s oral history includes it being used as a soothing, calming essence for the mouth.*

Please Note: Sometimes the heat of the summer will separate the ingredients in this product. We recommend placing the container in warm water or hold it in your hands to be warmed a bit by body temperature, then shake it vigorously to remix all the ingredients. Then, pop it in the fridge for a bit. Voila!
