This delicious spiced pumpkin latte recipe hails from the Longevity Coffee® Shop in Westlake Village, CA where they’re embracing America’s favorite flavor of fall – PUMPKIN!
Most pumpkin-flavored drinks get their addictive taste from a fake flavor enhancer full of preservatives and health-robbing processed sugars. Longevity Coffee® Shop created this recipe which uses REAL pumpkin puree and natural sweeteners to achieve nature’s yummiest latte flavor instead. After all, pumpkin is really good for us so why not enjoy our latte and nutritionally support our body at the same time?
What’s so great about Pumpkin?
Pumpkins are a hydrating, nutrient-dense fruit. Yup, they’re a fruit – they have seeds!
Pumpkins are 94% water and support full body hydration. They offer plenty of fiber to keep us feeling satiated, longer, which helps us maintain a healthy weight. They also give us plenty of vitamins and minerals like A, C, B2, E, potassium, copper, manganese, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, zinc, and folate.
Immune System Support & Heart Health
The antioxidants in pumpkin, like beta-carotene, alpha-carotene, and beta-cryptoxanthin neutralize free radicals, stopping them from damaging our cells (4). Here’s how you make this yummy, warming drink!
Spiced Pumpkin Latte Recipe
Ingredients:
2 Tbsp Pumpkin Puree
1 tsp Longevity Coffee Blast® (This adds beneficial superherbs to your latte to additionally support your immune system and overall health)
2 Tbsp of your favorite sweetener (try adding a dropperful of Vanilla Cream Jing Soda for a sweet vanilla flavor & herbal boost!)
1/4 tsp Organic Cinnamon Powder
5 oz Hot Longevity Coffee®
5 oz steamed Nut Milk
Optional: Top with Coconut Whipped Cream, a sprinkle of Cinnamon, and Nutmeg
Directions:
Add the pumpkin puree, coffee blast, sweetener, cinnamon, and coffee together and stir or blend until incorporated. Pour the steamed nut milk on top of it, stir or blend to incorporate it all. Pour into your mug (if you’ve used a blender) and then top the whole thing with the whipped cream. Sprinkle cinnamon and nutmeg on top!
